For new patients, our staff conducts Intake Assessments in which pertinent medical history and medical records from you and your family veterinarian are obtained. This Intake Assessment is best performed PRIOR to the initial appointment, either over the phone or by fax/mail.

Most of our patients are from out of town and their owners have driven many hours to reach our hospital. Because we respect and value your time, we make great effort to perform examinations and answer all questions both thoroughly and efficiently. Ocular emergencies do arise, however, and we will sometimes be behind schedule, as we might be if your own pet required emergency attention.

In consideration of all of our other patients, a minimum of 24 hours notice for changes is requested. Please call during scheduled office hours to change an appointment.

Emergency work-in appointments will be accepted, at an additional fee. While we will make every effort to see your pet in an emergency circumstance, this disrupts the appointment schedule for other patients and pet owners waiting to be seen.

Animal Eye Care examines cases and performs procedures on these days:
Monday:	9:00 AM to 4:00 PM  (Outpatient Receiving)
Tuesday:	9:00 AM to 4:00 PM  (Outpatient Receiving)
Wednesday:	Surgeries are performed and emergency cases examined
Thursday:	9:00 AM to 4:00 PM  (Outpatient Receiving)

Cancellation Policy

In order to best serve all clients who contact us, we request at least 24 hours' notice of cancellation of your appointment, so that this time slot can be used for another patient. Please call during scheduled office hours to cancel your appointment. If an appointment is scheduled and we are not notified that you cannot make it, this reduces our ability to care for all patients who need our services. For example, if your pet was in urgent need of eye care, but we could not schedule the appointment in the best time slot because this slot was already taken---- and then that client failed to show up for that appointment slot, this would not be the best use of anyone's time!
